New Zealanders - help me out here.
I was telling my colleague about a song that came out in around the late 90's or so, it was a rap song, set to a sample from the Country Calender theme tune. It was called something like "real zeal man". More of this song, I know not.
Anyone remember it? Know where it is online? Help a sister out.

Last night I had the best dream.
I dreamed I was with
Then the alarm went off and I had to get up.
But after careful consideration I rate this as an AWESOME dream. A+.

The first seven people to respond to this post will get something made by me.
This offer does have some restrictions and limitations:
I make no guarantees that you will like what I make.
What I create will be just for you.
It'll be done this year (2009).
You have no clue what it's going to be or when it's coming.
It may be a mix CD.
It may be something written.
I might learn a new craft just to surprise you.
Depending on who you are, it might even be hand-delivered. Who knows? Not you, that's for sure!
I reserve the right to do something extremely strange.

Here are some more photos of New Zealand because they're cool and I like 'em.
NZ food.
This is L&P which stands for Lemon & Paeroa.

Paeroa is a place on the North Island. When we went on holidays when I was a kid we always stopped in Paeroa for an ice-cream.

The iconic red squeezy tomato bottle that is world famous in New Zealand.
This is a typical NZ bakery lunch:

A meat pie, coffee and tomato sauce.
This is too:

A veggie and feta muffin and a custard square.
This is the family eating at a cafe in Whangarei:

That's Erik, my Nanna and Mother, my Uncle John and Poppa.
This is Erik waving my grandfather's walking stick around, acting like a grumpy old man:

And these are seagulls also enjoying the bounty of man:

Lordy it's been awhile! I'm going to ease myself back into journaling by sharing some of my photos from my trip back home to New Zealand.
In Amersfoort, it was -2 and cloudly when we left. We arrived in Auckland to 20 degrees and sun. This is the Auckland International Airport

Check that beautiful blue sky

Me and Erik climbed the Auckland Harbour Bridge.

Afterwards we went to the harbour (Westhaven Marina, biggest in the Southern Hemisphere) and hit up a cafe. THis is Erik eating a pie.

This was the view over the boats towards the Sky Tower.

This time around, I fell back in love with Auckland and New Zealand and general and just started feeling the pull that will eventually land me back home. I mean, look at the beautiful of that huge city with a small town feel!
Tommorrow - NZ food!
