New Zealanders - help me out here.

I was telling my colleague about a song that came out in around the late 90's or so, it was a rap song, set to a sample from the Country Calender theme tune. It was called something like "real zeal man". More of this song, I know not.

Anyone remember it? Know where it is online? Help a sister out.

Hilarious!

Last night I had the best dream.

I dreamed I was with air_and_angels and I was trying to get us from the departures lounge at a Swiss airport to the Arrivals hall. We had to cut through a toy store where we saw Stephen Fry and Hugh Laurie. Stephen Fry was wearing a polo neck and aviator glasses. We went running over waving at them and they waved back because they were pleased to see us, because we're cool fans. Except a horrible mousy woman in a brown tweed skirt kept trying to get in before us. Stephen and Hugh didn't want to talk to her, they wanted to talk to us and I ended up having to clasp Stephen's head to my bosom to get us out of there. I'm sure he didn't mind, despite his gay-osity. We made it to a white apartment where we generally lolled about and talked nonsense. This is when I unclasped Stephen and Hugh came over to talk to me. He then proceeded to show me his talking muscle, which in my dream ran from just above his thigh to his hip bone and it was very well developed, which he explained is why he talks so much.

Then the alarm went off and I had to get up.

But after careful consideration I rate this as an AWESOME dream. A+.

Die, Kenny Glenn, you nasty little shit, die horribly.

I hope Karma reams you a new one. It's more than you deserve.

Paeroa is a place on the North Island. When we went on holidays when I was a kid we always stopped in Paeroa for an ice-cream.

Lordy it's been awhile! I'm going to ease myself back into journaling by sharing some of my photos from my trip back home to New Zealand.

In Amersfoort, it was -2 and cloudly when we left. We arrived in Auckland to 20 degrees and sun. This is the Auckland International Airport

Me and Erik climbed the Auckland Harbour Bridge.



Afterwards we went to the harbour (Westhaven Marina, biggest in the Southern Hemisphere) and hit up a cafe. THis is Erik eating a pie.



This was the view over the boats towards the Sky Tower.



This time around, I fell back in love with Auckland and New Zealand and general and just started feeling the pull that will eventually land me back home. I mean, look at the beautiful of that huge city with a small town feel!

My stepfather-in-law, Bert Schaap died this morning at 06:00 after his 3 month battle with cancer.
